The Colorado Fourteeners offer genuinely challenging climbs, located in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. As you can probably guess, in order to be among the Colorado Fourteeners, each mountain must reach an elevation over 14,000 feet. These peaks are known well among avid hikers and mountaineers, often creating a little friendly competition to see who can bag the most peaks.
